Sanitary Sewer Discharge Compliance Certificate Program

Currently a handful of towns and cities in Westchester County require certification of your waste line before a seller can be cleared to close. More will start implementing this certification in the future, so using a company experienced with this process is important.

JDM Maintenance Inc has been performing these compliance inspections since their inception in each location that mandates it. We know what requirements are necessary for the waste line to pass and what what would cause it to fail. We have the latest technology to record the video required to give to the inspector, and we take care of filing the documents as well. We also have all the necessary equipment to clean the waste if necessary to pass inspection.

Purchasing a home?

When purchasing a home, it is recommended and prudent to get the sewer waste line inspected, as this is not a service the home inspector provides. You do not want any surprises after you close, as sewer line repairs can be extremely costly. JDM Maintenance Inc can perform a camera inspection and record a video of the waste line right from the camera. If we notice any issues with the line, we can locate the exact spot and depth of the pipe. This way you can address the issues with the seller and/or have them rectified before closing on the house.
